My school board is making decisions that effect many students and not seeing the full impact. They are not listening to the teachers, Principles, or students. I am starting this petition in hopes to get through to the board.Many students at Expo, East, and West High schools use the Roots and Wings Daycare facility at Expo while they are attending classes. The Waterloo Community School Board is highly concerned with the rate of drop outs in within the high schools. Once Expo relocates the future for the type of childcare that high school students need is uncertain and not bright. With as many students that we have using Roots and Wings Daycare discontinuing the daycare would increase the drop out rates due to lack of childcare. I petition that if the school board relocates Expo High School that they take into consideration childcare and offer alternative options or relocate the daycare to the old McKinstry building as well.
